Mets Trivia with Mook's Imaginary Girlfriend!

Okay Mets fans, Mook's Imaginary Girlfriend, Marissa Miller, is here to ask some Mets trivia. See how many questions you can get correct (without looking them up obviously, which would be soooooo lame).

Just so you know, these are pretty fucking hard.

1. Which Mets player was named NL Rookie of the Year in 1972 in a nearly unanimous vote?

2. Which Mets pitcher had the most starts for the club during the 1969 regular season?

3. On October 4, 1969, who did the Mets play their first ever postseason game against and did they win or lose?

4. On July 21, 1975, what Mets player and current manager grounded into 4 double plays in one game? (Slow fuck)

5. A. What was the real first name of Mets relief ace Tug McGraw? B. What is the real first name of Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver?

6. Who led the Mets with 105 RBI during their World Championship season of 1986? (Bonus - what was his nickname?)

7. Who was named MVP of the 1986 World Series?

8. What Met set a major league record for playing in 96 consecutive games without an error?

9. Besides Dallas Green, who are the three men who have managed both the Yankees and the Mets?

10. Through the 2006 season, how many players have been inducted into the Hall of Fame as a New York Met?

11. Who has more HRs as a Met? Mike Piazza, Daryl Strawberry, Howard Johnson or Cliff Floyd?

12. In 1992, Charlie Sheen successfully bid to win the ball that went through Bill Buckner's legs in Game 6 the 1986 World Series. Who hit that ball? (Bonus - how much did Sheen pay for it? $35,000/$60,000/$85,000/$110,000)

If you get 11-12 correct you are an awesome Mets fan who knows their shit inside and out and you have a chance with Ms. Miller

8-10 correct: you are still pretty fucking smart and should wear your blue and orange with pride

5-7 correct: not bad, your average is still above .300

2-4 correct: at least you didn't get all of them wrong, just don't brag about how you have been a fan since 1969 when you don't know what happened before last year.

0-1 correct: you're probably a fucking Yankee fan you fuck.

I will put the answers in the comment section in a few days. Good luck!

Based on Mookie's picks I didn't do so bad. Since I wasn't alive for half your questions they were a little hard. But I think I did ok.

GOOD JOB GUYS, MOOKS IS A FUCKING ALL-STAR, HE GOT ALL OF THEM RIGHT EXCEPT NO. 1 (CLOSE), NO. 3 and NO. 5A. Basically, Mooks got 10 right and I think he has a shot with Miss Miller (rumor is she is a Mets fan).

As for you Unruly, not too shabby, you got about 6 or so right. That is better than I probably would have done. Fucking George Foster, nice one. (I gave you credit for Mr. Bojangles as well).

GO METS, ONLY TWO DAYS AWAY FROM BASEBALL THAT COUNTS! GO GLAVINE!
