Mookster is right, I think the Mets have the best balance in baseball. They got the bats, decent pitching and defense. Imagine what we would be like with a pitching staff like that of Boston, White Sox or Detroit.
Pedro coming back will be huge (hopefully).
Wanted to see the Mets when they come to Coors Field in Colorado. What a great ball park, view is amazing of the Front Range. However, they come 4th of July weekend and I think I might want to come to Jerz then. We'll see.
Im buying Brooklyn Cyclones tix on Thursdays pre-sale. Anyone interested in putting together a field trip to the home of the original Nathans?
Games of note: Aug 16 is Willie Randolph bobble-head night and Aug 20 is Lee Mazzilli.
I wonder if Lee's head will be greasy like it looks on TV?
I'm not sure if anyone else got the reference Donkey made to an obscure Dudley Moore movie from the 80's but if you ever get a chance to see it, do so...funny movie.
The Mole is the best centerfielder in baseball. Mike & the Puppy say A.Jones still...but A.Jones doesn't get on base or hit for average. He can still go get 'em but so can 'los. A.Jones power is about the same...and well, Carlos has a mole. I don't know if Andruw does but I am pretty sure I don't want to know.
I hate it when you guys talk about this guys mole bc it makes me want to throw up.
Embrace your inner mole.
hey...it's vanseggern. billy gagner has struck again (run scoring triple in top 10 vs rockies). i don't know about you guys, but he makes me fucking nervous. mets scored in bottom 10 and now in top 11, but still...
