So Lastings has a rap song with the words "nigger" and "ho" and he degrades women and talks about fucking girls. Big, fucking deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Daily News reported that some women who heard one song were "horrified" and "shocked" by the language. Excuse me, do you dumb, stanky-ass bitches need your fucking heads examined? Have you ever heard a rap song before? Just because it is fucking Lastings does it mean that he can't use the same language that every other rapper in the universe uses?????? The world is coming to an end.
The Queens City Council has "outlawed" the use the "n" word. Good for those fucking idiots. Last time I checked, this is America, and artists have a right to free speech. So they can go fuck themselves if they want to single Lastings out as a pariah to society. I have never seen so much bullshit in my life.
Lastings biggest problem? Well, he has a few. The first is that awful fucking sweater he is wearing in the above picture. The second is that he associated himself with "Manny D" who is clearly an idiot and a failure, because nobody has heard of him. He needs to break into the biz with a real rapper and/or producer. Third, Carlos Gomez is rippin' it up on the Mets, while is he injured in the minor leagues. He needs to get back to the Mets, and stop pissing them off.
I don't think, for one second, that LM's rap career should impact whether or not he gets up to the bigs again. That being said, he should have a clue and realize that the time isn't right to be releasing a song about bitches, hos, and niggers. He's a young guy though, so it's not all his fault, he needs to mature. He also needs an advisor that isn't his cousin or some other stupid fuck. Shit, I'll volunteer, it won't take much.
Either way, Gomez is doing great, and as long as he continues to play well then the Mets don't need Lastings. But it's a long season, and there are a lot of old men on the fucking team.
As for Keith Hernandez, he is a fag. He said he wouldn't shave his head if he were on the Mets. What a pompous fuck. I give Keith props for being a good player for the Mets. But first he fucking gets a ring and/or celebrates or whatever the fuck he did with the Cardinals this year. Now he says he wouldn't be a good teammate and shave his head. It's bullshit. He shouldn't forget where his bread is buttered (and that goes to the St. Louis incident more than the shaving of his head).

However, he did say that the Mets should focus on all the players using roids in the farm system instead of Lastings. I agree with him on that, what is going on down there ? All that aside, it was great to see Willie stick with Gotay when he easily could have pinch hit for him with Wright or Beltran (assuming Reyes needed to rest) Fakey is right on that Wright and Delgado provided some nice results. Once again Endy comes through. As always Mook was running late for Sat's game but because of Chavez' heads up play and realization that we werent in the stadium yet so he decided to jack one straight back to Rasners pitching hand making us only miss one inning of play despite being an hour late. Not too mention Tommy G's 570 pitches in the first inning didnt hurt.
